Overview
Every circuit in your car, monitored and protected
The Hardwire PDM25 can take inputs from physical switches, analogue signals or the CAN bus to control each output. It monitors the current on every circuit and cuts power the moment a fault appears. It’s built in a sealed IP67 case, made in the UK by Hardwire Electronics, and supplied and supported here in New Zealand by Hardwire Oceania.

Why car builders choose it
Why choose the PDM25
Right-sized for a car
25 outputs cover the engine, fuel, fans, lights and accessories. Enough for a full rewire without paying for channels you won’t use.
Light and compact
690 g and 200 × 160 × 54 mm, so it fits behind a dash, under a seat or in the boot.
20A on every output
Every output handles 20A continuous and 80A peak, including four high/low side outputs. 120A combined.
Talks to your ECU, keypads and more
DBC import and CAN bus streams. ECUs, keypads and any CAN bus device can be configured to communicate, with fully customised control over the CAN protocol.
Smart control and logging
Soft start, 1000Hz PWM, run-on timers for fans, logic functions and maths channels, plus 128Mb of configurable onboard logging to see what tripped, once it’s set up for the circuits you want.
Built-in IMU and accelerometer
A 9-axis IMU with gyro and accelerometer measures rotation and acceleration, with impact and rollover detection that can trigger safety cut-offs.
Typical builds
Street and track cars. Drift, rally and drag cars. Full rewires of classic and restomod cars. Engine swaps, EV conversions, and off-road and 4×4 builds.
Need more than 25 outputs or 30A channels, or building for a fleet, boat or machine? See the PDM28.
Setup and support in NZ
Configuration uses the Hardwire PDM software for Windows, connected over USB. No programmer is needed. Email info@hardwireoceania.com.

FAQ
PDM25 questions
What is a PDM?
A power distribution module replaces a car’s fuses and relays with solid-state electronic switches. It measures the current on each circuit and shuts off a faulty one instantly, then can retry it.
Is the PDM25 enough for my car?
For most car builds, yes. 25 outputs cover a full rewire. If you need more outputs, 30A channels or LIN, look at the PDM28.
Will the PDM25 work with my ECU?
Most likely. It imports DBC files and has ready-made CAN configs for common ECUs, so it can read engine data and switch fans or pumps from it. Tell us your ECU and we’ll confirm.
Can I run it without a CAN keypad?
Yes. Its 16 inputs take ordinary switches and analogue signals. Keypads are optional.
Do you ship within New Zealand and Australia?
Yes. Contact us for current stock and delivery times.
