Hardwire Oceania (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through hardwireoceania.com, why we collect it, and how you can see or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- When you request a white paper: your name and email address, which white paper you asked for, and the page you asked from. Our form system also records the date and time and your IP address.
- When you email us: your email address and anything you include in your message.
- When you visit the site: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance.
How we use it
- To email you the white paper you requested.
- To follow up once about your request, for example to thank you and offer a conversation about your application.
- To reply to your enquiries.
- To keep the website secure and working properly.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we will not add you to a mailing list without your permission.
Who can see it
Our team, and the service providers that help us run the website and email, such as our website host and email provider. Some of these providers may store information on servers outside New Zealand. We use providers we expect to protect it appropriately.
How long we keep it
We keep white paper requests and enquiries while they are useful for following up and managing our customer relationships, and delete them when they are no longer needed.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website may set technical cookies that it needs to work.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing info@hardwireoceania.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
