The challenge
Each Halcyon car is a one-off: a vintage Rolls-Royce given a high-voltage electric drivetrain and the features and refinement modern owners expect, without losing what makes it a classic.
The original fuse and relay systems simply weren’t up to the job, and with every build different, Halcyon needed low-voltage electrics that were compact, reliable and easy to tailor.
The solution
A Hardwire PDM now forms the backbone of each car’s electrical system, replacing all of the original fuses and relays.
- Electrical behaviour defined in software, so each commission can be tailored without new hardware
- Integrates with Halcyon’s own electric drivetrain over multiple CAN buses
- Load monitoring and diagnostics give full control over power management
